Suzana’s entrepreneurship, commercial vision and her determination to pursue her ambitions in business have been recognised with a total of 19 national awards including Entrepreneur of the Year (twice) and two Business Woman of the Year awards.
Other plaudits included Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Granada TV Young Entrepreneur and Yorkshire TV Young Entrepreneur, NatWest Business Woman of the Year, Lloyds Business Woman of the Year and Business Woman of the 90s.
In 2004, Suzana was appointed as a Government Advisor to regional businesses and public sector organisations. In this role she helped to create more than 480 new jobs, while safeguarding many more and bringing £20 million of new income into the UK.
Looking to the future, Suzana plans to continue as a land broker and business consultant, bringing her experience of more than 30 years in the industry to good use with other projects, along with a number of non-executive directorships on the boards of organisations across the country. She has been a judge for the BIBAs (Be Inspired Business Awards) and currently sits as a judge for the National Inspirational Women’s Awards held in London.
Her achievements have been recognised by the Earl Marshal of The College of Arms, who in 2009 appointed Suzana her own Coat of Arms for exceptional services to Business.
In 2014, Suzana was appointed as a Deputy Lieutenant of Lancashire. She is a Board member of TheAgainst Crime, and Lancashire Vice President of SSAFA, The Armed Forces Charity and has devoted much of her time, expertise, and energy as a prolific fundraiser for the Prince’s Trust. As well as generating much needed finance for The Trust’s work with local young people, Suzana has also helped to create numerous job opportunities and sponsorship deals to benefit the Trust, by forging links with donors, companies, celebrities and Trust funds.
